We will support businesses by providing consulting services, instruction, and hands-on practical help - including documenting and removing old paper collections.
Janet Karasz, Director
 In her twenty-five years as a records professional working for the Government of Alberta, as well as her part-time work as a Northern Alberta Institute of Technology(NAIT)in e-Records,Janet has developed a broad based understanding and hands-on experience with advanced Information Management and process improvement.
Janet has been writing and presenting courses for over ten years on subjects as diverse as Power Point, Visio, process mapping, records system design, project management, and Electronic Content Management systems. Janet has been instructing the NAIT continuing education course, Work Processes (RIM 106), for the past three years. In 2009 she presented a workshop at the Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA)Canada conference entitled, "Hands on Process Mapping, and repeated this workshop for ARMA Edmonton in the spring of 2010. She estimates that she has taught over fifty participants how to draft current state and target state processes, and to evaluate the processes for logic, disconnects, and opportunities for efficiencies.
Janet believes that there is a gold mine of opportunity for improvement, as everyday workers are empowered to make small changes. She celebrates discovery, openness and debate, providing a safe and stimulating environment. |
